The Jackson County Young Artists Theatre (JCYAT) is JCCT’s program for youth from elementary to high school age.  After a number of years of irregular youth programming, JCYAT has recently emerged, and the program has experienced rapid growth in the last three years.  What began as an effort to re-establish a summer program for children has grown to a summer workshop and three productions scheduled for the coming year.

The summer workshop is designed to allow students to focus on various elements of theatre from performing, to makeup and set work.  The final day of the workshop serves as a formal audition for the summer production.  Students also have the opportunity to return to the stage in JCYAT productions in the fall and winter seasons.

The 2017 workshop will be held June 5 - 9, 2017.

JCCT strives to provide a positive arts experience for all its performers, especially its young artists.  As a result, all students and parents are expected to adhere to the code of conduct set forth here.  If you wish to print this, use the printer icon once you arrive at the Code of Conduct page.
