Life After Dad   Performances:      Feb. 15, 16, 22, 23, 2013
by:        Directed By:    Elyse Ogden-McGill, assisted by Betty Baute

  Produced By:

This is a comedy about a man who was so busy that he forgot to tell his wife and children that he loved them. The setting of the play is the first family gathering after his death, on Thanksgiving Day. Now before you think this doesn’t sound much like a comedy, here’s the twist. Dad arrives at the gathering, with the intention of telling his wife how much he loved her. However, only one person can see or talk with him, his son Carl.  Dad has to persuade Carl to communicate  his message from his father to his mother. Carl is understandably reluctant to do so, and the situation goes from funny to funnier as various family members arrive, and an old friend, Jerry, who may have a romantic interest in his wife, also makes an appearance.
